We just adopted two cats in Ohio, traveling back to our home in SC. We stopped in WV, went to put the cats on a leash to let them stretch their legs, and Ava freaked out and slipped out of the harness. Our 8 year old son is devastated and Ava’s brother, Cookies is missing him! Please help us!

I think you should Look directly behind the old Coreys Produce which is at 1410 Lewis Street Charleston WV 25301...a man feeds local strays for 10+ years back there & if your cat got lost & freaked out well thats only a 4 minute walk from nearby where you lost him at..I have previous experience finding my cat over that way when a similar thing happened to him. Just an idea for anyone who has lost an animal. Make flyers. About 20 copies. Take one to the shelter, and ask if they can hang it up. Also ask if they can give the rest to the animal control drivers. To keep in their trucks. Give flyers to the mailman, ups and fedex drivers. Also save the post you made on lost and found. Post it once a week, just to keep people informed that you're still looking. Also keep in contact with the shelter once a week, to make sure they haven't forgotten. You may also ask the shelter if they will share your lost animal post on their page. Whatever you do. NEVER GIVE UP.
