Recently moved to the area and our indoor cat has managed to get out. We're really worried for him as he has no outdoor experience and has only just got to the area. Please help us bring him home.

You may have done some of this already, but if not it might be worth putting a photo through the doors of houses/flats in nearby roads to home. Many people don’t walk around their local area and some don’t go out a great deal so they might not realise a visiting cat in their garden is a missing one. Plus, posters at the railway stations, bus stops, and newsagents. A poster at the station worked for me. Mine was found after 10 days, so don’t give up hope. Also if you have any used cat litter, (or bedding), spread bits of it around your borders outside. Cats can pick up their scent from some distance. I hope your cat is back home with you soon.🙏🤞🐾

Hang items of your unwashed clothing outside your home so he can pick up your scent Repeat every 2days.Call late at night and early mornings shaking the treats.Go out in your garden between 2am and 4am call listen and wait.Put posters up especially on your outdoor bin and in car window.Leaflet drop in your area and physically ask and go with neighbours to check their sheds and garages.Phone local vets. If old home is close repeat as much as possible there also
