Tan female pug with orange collar. Just had puppies.

We found this poor route 59 just south of Route 52. She was underneath a pick up truck that had stopped. Luckily she is unharmed, just a bit scared. She seems very friendly.

The Shorewood Police Department will scan her. I found a cat hanging around our homes in shorewood , took her there in a crate and found her owners.

Update: She was happy and healthy and given to Shorewood PD for chip scanning and safe keeping. I would have kept her at my house until we could find the owner but the introduction to my two pitbulls didn’t seem to be going well and the Shorewood PD insisted it was best if she went with them. Two young girls stopped by the house to claim her but she was already gone. I let them know how to find her. I’m assuming they have already been reunited, or that it’s imminent.

Please have him scanned for a chip and notify local police departments, shelters and animal control that he was found in case he was reported missing. Not everyone is on social media. If someone does come forward, please make sure they can prove he is theirs…vet records, several family pictures etc. Thank you for keeping him safe💕 Most police departments, shelters or vets should be able to scan. They need to use a universal scanner and check from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail.
