Description: Pic is a small sun conure (parrot) about 6 inches long with a bright yellow and orange head and chest, green wings, and some blue in his tail. He is a tame indoor companion bird and is not used to being outside. He was last seen flying north from Beechwood Rd & Arkwood on the evening of June 17.
Message from Owner
I’ve had Pic for 4 years and he slipped out my kitchen door when I got home. Because of Wednesday’s rain and the mild temperatures, he is likely still within about a 1–2 mile radius of Beechwood Market, sheltering in trees, bushes, or window sills. As days go on he may move farther, but he is probably still in this general area. Please search around your home and yard, and if you can, look up ‘sun conure screams’ and play the sound – he may call back or come closer. If you see or hear him, do not chase; keep eyes on him and contact me immediately.
