8 month old indoor Black Cat with few strands of white hairs with green-yellowish eyes.

Message from Owner

This is our sweet baby Meow Meow. He is my daughter’s first kitty and all of our hearts are currently in shambles. He is all black, with a hint of brown undertones in the sunlight but from a far he just looks like a regular black cat with a few strands of white all around his body but not much. He has no patches of other colors and has green-yellowish eyes. When we last seen him he was a little chunky but I fear he may of lost weight because he is used to eating 2 cans of kitty food a day with dry food to supplement. He has been gone 11 days. He has only been an indoor cat since the day we found him as a small kitten, a funny quirk about him is he comes to to you only if you meow at him. Which is why my 9 year old decided to name him Meow Meow. He can be a little skittish at times around most people that aren’t my kids or my self but he is very sweet. He is also best friend’s with my dog who has been so sad since he has been gone. On Friday May 29th, he slipped out when our older big dog was taking a long time getting out of the back door to go outside and we tried to call him with cat food and he ran into the avocado grove and hopped the fence and we haven’t been able to find him since. We haven’t seen any coyotes recently and we are hoping that he just wandered to far. We are near the corner of Soffel St. and Opal Ave in Mentone,CA. If anyone has any information, please feel free to reach out at anytime. Hoping and praying for the day we can bring Meow Meow home. 🙏🙏🙏 🐈‍⬛

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.
