Mary Asher No! Do not put the litter box outside according to most pet trackers - it attracts predators that then scare away the missing cat. Maybe it worked for you but it's not recommended. It's better to put a humane trap with smelly cat food in it in the yard for the cat to smell and it will be hungry.

Try going out at night with a flashlight and some treats. Call for her. She’s probably not far away . put out some dirty clothes and try putting up flyers.
