Description

Sweet older. Age unknown I took him in about 1 year ago from a family friend. He is super sweet but has not been out of the hse since I got him. From the pic you can not tell but as of the time he took off he was a bit heavy. The clip on his ear is a tell that it is Max. Please help bring him . He is very much loved and missed!

We found Max after almost 2 months in the neighborhood. I am so grateful for everyone in my neighborhood who was searching/looking out after him. I am blessed to have great neighbors. I had lost all hope and then an angel neighbor showed up at my door and said she found him.

Please file a missing report with Virginia Beach animal shelter. Visit the shelter several times a week in person to check and if your cat is there. If your cat is chipped, make sure the registry has the current contact information. Tonight after 10 PM, go out on your yard with a flashlight in a bag of kitty treats. Walk around your you’re quietly calling your cat’s name and shaking the kitty treats bag. Use the flashlight to look in the bushes to see if you see your cat. Print flyers with your cat picture in your contact information and take around to your neighbors. Ask them to call if they see your cat. Also ask them if they’ve been in their shed or any other outbuildings in their yard. A cat will go into a dark space because it seems safe to them, and then the owner close the door and the cat cannot get out. You cannot hear cat crying to get out of the shed unless you’re standing right next to it. Look under porches, deck, and any home that has an open crawlspace cover to see if they’re hiding under there. Indoor cats rarely stray more than 5 to 7 houses from their own.
