He's a doll baby. Thank you for caring and keeping this precious pup safe! Was he checked for a chip?

Ashley Berg when a lost or found pet report is filed, staff go through them, as they have time. There isnt just one person dedicated to matching lost with found. So please don't depend on that to find the owner. You can also post on NextDoor, petcolovelost. Com, and Ring. Perhaps your boyfriend can post on NextDoor and Ring since thats closer to his area than yours. Please be aware that Orange County stray hold, by a citizen, is 30 days from the date the found report is made. If unable to hold for the entire time, while still looking for the owner, he should go to Orange County Animal Services. Thats where an owner would look for their dog. Sadly, because he is intact, he likely doesnt have a microchip; but if you get a chance, it would still be wise to check for one. Ya never know... You can also post on the County lost and found forum, using this link Lost & Found Pet Portal https://share.google/7D6iO2a8do81IGxmn

Put flyers up in your area. You can use sheet protectors and put them in upside down so the rain doesn't go into the sleeve. Post them on utility poles, Street signs, and entrances and exits to Major intersections.
