Message from Owner

o everyone, My husband and I are searching for our missing indoor cat, Ziggy. She was last seen near our apmt at 477 Jean street around 1pm. She is an indoor only cat. Ziggy is very shy, prone to hiding, and may not respond. She has a malformed canine tooth on her left side which gives her a slight smirk. She is 5 years old but is small and is often mistaken for a kitten or adolescent. Her size makes her an excellent hider and she is very cautious when it comes to people. She is a part of a bonded pair. Her brother, Ozzy, would love to have her back to bully him. Please do not chase, if found. If you are able to capture a picture to send that would be great! We would love any advice or help. We just want to bring her safely.

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Keep the door or window the kitty left from open 24/7 so they can return, usually very late at night. If unable to do that then crack your garage door open enough for her to get in, 24/7. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture letting them know she got out and ask them to keep an eye out, check Ring cameras for any sighting, post as many flyers as possible with kitty’s picture in your and surrounding neighborhoods. Walk late at night when it’s quiet with a flashlight, looking under every shrub for their shining eyes, softly call the kitty’s name and shake their food. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check with shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

Carrie Biondo, we are doing all of the above. Have even had some kind neighbors allow us to check their yards and under their decks. We continue to venture out in the evening and early Mo when it is quiet and most likely that she may be out and about. We have had one scammer try to get money from us. “Linda Wilson” if anyone is looking for their lost pet beware of this person.
