One is mainly green with yellow spot on his head. The other one is multicolored and more older.

Please help me find my birds. They had gotten toppled over by a black cat when they were in their cage outside for some fresh air and the sliding door opened and they flew out. My heart is broken.

Bridget Makk Thank you for your concern! One of my birds (not these 2) had flown away before but I found him again cause he was just at a house nearby. I’m not sure in this situation since they were in my sisters apartment complex.. but I hope they’re found soon.

Jancis Ballecer I have two parakeets of my own so I can understand how awful it is that they are lost. Birds that are rather tame will often fly to a person if they need help. Our first parakeet landed on our neighbor's deck and jumped on to his hand. He brought the bird over to our house to see if we were missing a bird and that started our journey with parakeets. If you have a Wyze or Ring camera, you can aim on the cage so you know if one or both of them return. Put their favourite treats, like sprays of millet in the cage.

Post on Nextdoor so your neighbors can contact you if they see your birds. Notify your local animal services so they know. Posters still work 👍 www.Mickboo.org ( lost bird site)

Put their cage outside with food and water. Play budgie videos from YouTube to try to get them to return. Maybe hang the cage so nothing can get them if they return. I hope you find them. Were they hand trained and friendly with people?
