small dog found running in the road near Ingalls off Leicester Hwy at 1 am Sunday Aug. 23.

Will need proof of ownership and will need to be able to prove ability to care for this dog as it appears neglected and malnourished. Has a few wounds and needs dental. Citizens reported this dog has been seen loose before so claimant needs to prove ability to safely hse. Dog will go into rescue if owner not found by Thursday August 27th.

Looks pretty healthy to me 🤷🏼 & young could have been lost for a few weeks & lost weight you never know what hes been through running around. I wouldn't just assume he was abused there's a lot of pets found looking worse then what they normally do. And some dogs look skinny but that's how there breed looks like fawn Chihuahuas, grey hounds.. Hopefully this pup finds a quite happy relaxing home she seems so scared in her eyes, she's the type that opens up with another small friend her size or a sweet kid

This probably is some elderly person's pup. Possibly not connected to social media.It looks to be older ,which can be the health issues. I wouldn't hold it hostage. It's probably missed! Thanks for taking care of it!
