Message from Owner

She has been scared off by a mama cat & babies & loud noise of tree trimer machine! She’s an inside/ outside cat & I’m afraid the heat may her. She normally stays real close to home. Other female ran her out of her backyard when she showed up with kittens. Mama does not belong here!! Sassy does. She was born here in 2023 . Her collar is pink & has a tag with my phone #, if it’s still on her. I miss my Baby girl! Springfield Farms & Lakes addition right off Hwy. 77 & Free Market & Shawnee. Pleas Help!!

Tami Urtheil Thank you. I raised many feral cats before I moved to a neighborhood. I appreciate your input. Already did all the things you suggested that were possible. She was an outside cat until the Mama cat with babies came. She ran her out of our back yard. Sassy moved to the front porch and then the mama cat started coming to the front porch so Sassy started coming in at night so she didn’t have to deal with that cat and during the daytime she’d go out in the bushes or wherever she lays thats cool and then the guys turned on the machine to trim the bushes & she was probably right there and she just left. She’s been seen on the street behind us twice but I go at 9, 11, Midnight I go early in the morning I’ve done all of those things. I just can’t have not been able to spot her! I think she’s in somebody’s house. Thank you.

Inside cats HIDE when they slip out of the house ! Look under the house, under porches, in garages and sheds, up in trees, on the house....... Cats are crepuscular, meaning they are most active during dawn and dusk, and sleep during the day. Go out around 11 pm, call QUIETLY for him, shake his treats or food. Use a flashlight and watch for his eyes to shine. Also go out early morning 4 or 5 am.
