Pig wandered on to our property near Stoney Point on 8/11. After 2 families calling animal control at least 5 times and them doing nothing, we brought pig to our property in Bladen county on 8/21. Pig is approximately 1 to 2 years old. Pig likes our dogs, is not aggressive but is leary of humans. Pig does take treats from our hands, if we reach out to pet pig, pig will flinch and or run😢. Pigs are herd and prey animals without pig friends pigs can become depressed and we don’t want that for Pig. Pig needs a home that is loving, nurturing and nourishing with humans and pig friends and family. We don’t know anything about Pigs previous life but it couldn’t have been all that good since Pig has been wandering in survival mode for at least a month. Pig deserves all the great things in life, humans and other pigs to live with, to love and be loved and to teach pig and help pig grow. Due to medical issues, lack of knowledge and finances we can’t keep Pig much longer.
