General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO CAT BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

“Probably” pregnant ?! Why on earth would you risk that happening ? Do you realize how many kittens and mamas too are being euthanized at shelters everyday ? Literally hundreds ! Should you get her back, do the responsible thing and get her fixed before letting her out again. Here are some tips to try to get her home: Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Don’t wait for social media to bring your cat home, you need to be proactive. Leave the door/window the kitty exited from open 24/7. If unable, then crack garage door open 24/7 enough to get in. Hang worn clothes and/or your pillow case in a tree or on top of shrubs to create a scent trail. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture asking them to keep an eye out. See if they can check Ring cameras for any sighting. Post signs with kitty’s picture as many as possible, include surrounding neighborhoods. Go out late at night with a flashlight, shaking a bag of food, calling kitty’s name, looking under shrubs for their shining eyes. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

Check in bushes and under cars near your home, and check on the next street over, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to her and making a familiar sound. And ask neighbors if she may be trapped in their garage or shed. Also, check websites of your local / county animal shelters for their recent acquired cats. They often have a section you can view their photos and details. It may be good to go there in person as well. I hope she is found soon🙏🏻

I love your little girl. Take your flyers and knock on every single door and talk to the neighbors in the surrounding area. That’s the best way to get the word out there. These postings are great, but they don’t reach everybody in your neighborhood. That’s important. It has worked for us. I sure hope she’s found safe and sound.

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
