Rofida Greballah So happy she is home safely. She is young and if she is not spayed yet, please consider doing this asap. She will have less urge to try to get out and will not end up pregnant if she does. Awesome happy ending! 😸

Shared. If you have not yet done so, ASAP notify Markham Animal Services and check their website for found cats. Carefully check around your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots like closets, dresser drawers and hidden nooks and crannies, as cats often hide nearby when scared. Search all nearby shrubs, bushes and trees, window wells, garages and sheds. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. Cats will usually stay near the door they left for a day or two before searching for food. If she has not been spayed and is in heat then she may have been chased by male cats and can't find her way home. In case she's still neraby or manages to find her way back, leave her used littler and some food and water in hidden places near the door she left now and check later this evening. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5-10 block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make an loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owner as safe

Put out your worn clothing and her bed / blanket - if she is disoriented, the scent will help her find her way home. Go out in the early hours of the morning and shake the treat bag and call her name quietly. Take a flashlight as her eyes will shine. Crack the garage door and/or house window so she can make her way inside if she comes home. Make posters and flyers and get them up and out asap! Call all the vets and shelters in your area. Hopefully she is microchipped and someone takes her in to be scanned. Good luck, I hope you find her! 😿
