MESSAGE FROM OWNER
Absolutely devastated as old neighbor who hates cats, was knowingly luring my cats onto his property with wet can food, trapping them and alleged he dumped them outside Scott County IL. He admitted to DNR that he kills the raccoon s/opposums but dumps the cats! Not sure why he’d save the cats especially when he’s intentionally luring them… plus knows they are mine. But I’ll never stop looking for Tiger King and then Spanky, went missing 6 months prior. I caught him trapping as I found Tiger Kings sister Dottie 10 days later in his trap at 5am almost frozen to death, minus 8 windchill! My cats are indoor/outdoor cats and generally stay on my property but they started going over to my brothers hse 5 doors down when he moved in and have to walk past his shed! I was able to rescue Dottie and called the DS. He only was told to put his traps away and that’s it. He was illegally trapping with no permit, illegally dumping, luring and then stealing my property and the only outcome was put the traps away! Stealing 2 of my family members and nobody seems to care. They were more concerned I trespassed onto his property to save my other cat. Apparently this guy has been doing this for years! Cats aren’t considered domestic pets in Scott County IL and they’ve sent my money back when paying for rabies tag and showing proof of rabies. Please help me make a change in rural illinois where animal cruelty is entirely irrelevant. Especially with cats plus no animal control.
DESCRIPTION
Beautiful black/Carmel tabby. Desperate to find as crazy neighbor lured, live trapped and allegedly DUMPED outside Scott County IL in the boonies, (he told DNR) but they never asked him where he dumped him… it’s all BARBARIC and I’m worried he actually killed him????????. But I’ll never stop looking for him.
