SLO County has bobcats, bears, mountain lions, and coyotes. Must keep cats in at night and best to keep them in a safe yard purrfectfence.com works! You can get just the brackets for $20 each and the mesh (deer fencing) at any hardware store for a diy version. I've seen all of these (except bear) at my AG home.
