Neighbors report sightings in gardens on Vanderbilt Street this last week. Very friendly female, hungry, no chip. Was wearing an outgrown white collar with a bell which was removed due to tightness. She belonged to somebody? Anyone know her? She is the second friendly cat to show up straying on Vanderbilt Street this week. Most unusual. See other post for Snowshoe siamese.

Met this gal the other day where she's staying. Really cuter and younger than she looks in the picture - about a year old. Had outgrown a white kitten collar with a bell, which was removed before it strangled her. She belonged to someone. She's on vet lists, local sites and lampposts.

Can you bring kitty inside to safety, food and water and then take to a vet to scan for chip? The vet may also recognize the kitty and be able to contact its owners. Check with other local vets as well and contact the police. Also post fliers. And beware of bad actors!!! Also keep checking Nextdoor and Pawboost for cats found in and near your zip code.
