pale ginger cat, about 8-9 lbs, thin tail, appears female but not sure, very friendly; looks like it may have been outside for at least a few days (dirty), may have been in a fight with another cat--has a face scratch/scab and a sore on it's left front paw

Going to keep little kitty in my garage tonight with food/water/litter and good ventilation. Plan to take it to an emergency vet/shelter to get micro-chipped in the morning (I'm unable to bring kitty inside and I'm afraid it will be too hot to stay in there day time) and will provide the location. Feel free to reach out in the mean time.
