Description

STILL MISSING!!! Tabby cat. My son accidentally let her out and we can’t find her anywhere. Our neighborhood is very small and we are worried as she is an indoor cat. White paws and white spot on her chest. She is spayed.

Message from Owner

Please help us find our baby. My kids are distraught, as am I.

What to do if you lose your Cat 1. Search all places inside and around your house as cats can hide in small places. 2. Shake their treat bag and softly call their name. 3. Search at dusk and dawn with a flashlight as the light will pick up their eyes. Outside they tend to hide under shrubs, under porches, in open sheds & drainage ditches. You can shake their treats while looking outside too. 4. Put something with your scent on it outdoors, on a porch or deck if possible or in a garage with the door cracked. Sometimes the scent brings them home. You can also put out their litter box. 5. Post on nextdoor 6. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 7. Make a lost pet report to all the local shelters especially in areas that have close boundaries. 8. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups 9. Post on PetFBI site and use .org as the ending. 10. If chipped, report to chip company but don’t forget to change status when your cat is found. 12. Ask your neighbors to check their garages and sheds. 13. Last you can rent a humane trap at your local shelter and set it with some tasty food. Your cat may be coming around the house late at night.

Wendy LaBelle thank you, I’ve done all of that. Our neighborhood is very confined and only two streets so I have been walking around calling her constantly and have my garage cracked open if she were to come in on her own

Put her cat box or something with your scent outside. Ask neighbors to check their garages and sheds and under landscaping. Post pictures for those who don’t have Facebook. Post on Comal County Lost and Found pets. Walk around and keep calling. Contact the Humane Society of New BraunFels in case someone brought her in.
