General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

GO outside TONIGHT with a high powered flashlight and search for her calling her name all around the block where you live and behind your place on the other streets.. Download free flyers off Pawboost and put up everywhere and give flyers to your neighbors and go door to door asking if anyone has seen her or if she could be in their backyards or garages. Search under cars and in bushes.. Check the OC Animal Care in Tustin daily for new intakes. Also check the deceased list daily.. Coyotes are everywhere and you need to find her fast.. If and when you get her back home, please NEVER let her outside to roam again.. It is like playing Russian Roulette with her life every time you let her wander. ocpetinfo.com -- Also post on Nextdoor and all social media lost and found pets websites including Huntington Beach CommUNITY Voice website.

So sorry your kitty is missing 😰 You must actively look for your kitty. Please go out late at night or very early in the morning when there are very few cars and people out. Sit on your front or back stairs, wherever she’s more familiar and talk in a normal conversation voice, think low cell phone conversation. Do this for at least an hour if not longer, morning and night until found. If she likes treats and knows the sound of a treat bag do that also or any sound that she gets excited about. If she’s scared and hiding, this may be the encouragement needed to come out. Cats can hide for days. Also go to catsinthebag.org for many other helpful tips on how to find her. Good luck. I Hope she is found safe and soon. 🙏🐾💕
