As Melissa said they don't usually go very far. If still not home by dark go out with a flashlight. The light catches their eyes making it easier to see them. We found one of ours that way hiding behind a neighbor's grill.

Could she possibly gone in a open garage or outside building of neighbors and them shut the door? It wouldn’t hurt to ask Neighbor’s on each side and across from you to check.
