Did you see your cat get out of your house/apartment? If you live in an apartment, check the laundry facility as I found 2 missing cats people "lost" in the building behind washer/dryer. If in a home, check everywhere in the house, under couch/chairs, cabinets, etc. If you know for sure your baby got outside, put a particle of clothing of yours with your scent or bedding your cat used on porch if possible and hope Pebbles stays nearby or comes home. Once outside, they seem so scared and do not react as you would want them to...I know, I had a couple get outside a few times in my lifetime and they ran from me and weren't the same until I got them back inside.
