Message from Finder

This little guy was hanging out on a neighbor’s fence a few days ago. He came running right over when I called kitty kitty, and ran right into the hse where he gobbled down a ton of food. He is extremely friendly and affectionate, and seems to be comfortable in the hse for short periods of time, but he always cries to go out. He has used the litter box but prefers to go outside. We are feeding him and keeping him in the hse at night. We will get him neutered and keep him if he goes unclaimed. He is so friendly and sweet that It seems he must have had an owner at some point. If you are missing this little guy, or know who he might be, please reach out.

Rejane Perroud I did the same with a stray I brought back from New Orleans to San Francisco. At first, he wanted to go outside. Then not so much. Then not at all! For a battle hardened street cat, he realized that being a house cat wasn’t so awful afterall.

I vote to keep him. Trying not to be too judgemental, but this sweet boy is neither chipped nor neutered. He deserves a caring home.

Rejane Perroud Yes. Keep him and keep him inside. Outside is full of danger for cats. He’ll get used to being indoors. If he has to go out, take him out on a leash.
