He is likely hiding in a tight spot very close by, scared of even you. Put things out that smell like you. Ask neighbors in person to check sheds and garages it could be stuck in. Try to draw out by walking around the house with something yummy smelling while talking in a normal voice. Dusk and dawn are best times because it's quitest. Look up in trees also. If possible leave a window or door open he can get back in. Good luck!
