I hope this beautiful pup is found and home safely. I never leave my small dog out in the yard without me. They get stolen.

Missing Dog Sharing from another site. ❤🐾🐾❤🐾🐾❤🐾 WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR DOG GOES MISSING... ❤🐾🐾❤🐾🐾❤🐾 • Quickly and carefully SEARCH last known location (keep slip lead and stinky treats with you at all times) check your home, shed, garage, basement and the entire area then further by foot and then by car...if you see the lost dog, be sure to get down low to ground, talk gently, limit eye contact and offer treats, keeping your slip lead close... *TELL EVERYONE you see the dog is Missing and give any important instructions about your dog's demeanor...tell them DO NOT CHASE...tell all your friends, neighbors (have them monitor home and business cameras), the mailman, local stores...the more eyes searching the better! *SIGHTINGS Are Very Very Important be sure you give phone #!!! • POST on all Lost & Found Pet pages on Facebook...Nextdoor app, Neighbors app, Pawboost app and any other Neighborhood pages in your area...use very detailed information state Missing/Lost, Breed, Color, Size, When and Where dog went missing from...name the Closest intersecting streets and city so we can hop in cars and use GPS to come and help or to connect you to a found dog in your area, state if Collar and if Microchipped... • REPORT TO ANIMAL CONTROL...file a Lost Report...check all local Shelters IN PERSON daily or at least every 2-3 days... • UPDATE MICROCHIP with current contact information... • Set a SCENT STATION... place stinky dirty laundry, smelly dog bedding and a bowl of smelly human or can dog food...place in a safe and visible location at your house or at the location the dog went missing from to help dog find home or homebase on camera, if possible...(Strong Scents...Fried Chicken with no bones, Burgers, Sausage, Rotisserie Chicken, Bacon, Bacon Grease, Gravy and Liquid Smoke) • If you or those who are helping you SEE your dog be sure they get low to the ground, stay calm with limited eye contact and slowly get the dog to approach them by using treats...a dog on the run may not even recognize his own owner if he is in Fight or Flight mode...if dog is fearful, it may take some time for him to realize that you are safe and may require the use a Humane Trap and Cameras to safely capture your dog... Please Contact someone else who has traps and cameras • Be Patient and figure out what works to get the dog to trust you... • Make FLYERS by next morning of dog missing...make flyer simple stating MISSING or LOST at top of page with only One BIG contrasting Picture of dog in the middle and Contact phone # on the bottom...Be Sure to put all flyers up into upsidedown plastic page protectors and seal with tape...put in places where people slow down enough to glance, often people ONLY glance... •PLEASE KEEP US UPDATED on any new information by editing your post with info of all sightings to further help you and to keep your post active on Facebook and any apps you posted on... ❤🐾🐾❤🐾🐾❤🐾

Be sure you file a lost report with animal control before they close. Someone may have already taken your dog there if you haven’t looked. Or they may do it in the future and if you file the report, they will have your contact information. Hopefully you’re looking at all the shelters today, also. Check the SPCA in the Peninsula regional animal shelter too.
