I found this husky Scottish terrier walking by himself off of Inglewood. Can't hold on to the dog and do not want to let the dog go. Looks a little sad. He has license. Hope to reunite him with his family

Update: Unfortunately the founder was not willing to work with us and I was told they passed this baby to someone else. Not the updated I wanted to provide, I did ask them to pass my info to whomever does have him.

Call the City who licensed the dog. If a owner took the time to license the dog more than likely he has a chip. Take him to a local vet. They will check for free.

This dog is a fancy purebred Scottish Terrier, looks well cared for and is an expensive dog. Likely has a chip. Take to any local vet or animal control and they will scan the dog for you and give you the owner’s contact info. You can contact the breed club in SoCal to ask if one of their members has lost their dog, put up lost dog signs in the area, contact the breed rescue that commented here, etc. If no owner comes forward, the appropriate thing to do is to take to the local shelter where the dog was found and leave it there for the owner to find. You or a rescue can likely ask for “first rights” if no one comes for it.
