Georgia has been a member of our family since she was a kitten and we adore her. She loves affection from her family and grooming her canine sibling(s). She is smart and knows her way around so her being lost is unusual.

 Please file a missing cat report with Virginia Beach animal control. Visit the shelter several times a week to see if your cat has been brought in.  Print flyers with your cat picture and your contact information and take around your neighbors, asking them to call you if they see your cat. Also ask them if they’ve been in their outbuilding shed or garage since your cat went missing. Cats go in those places to hide and when the door is closed, they cannot get out. You cannot hear cat crying to get out of the shed unless you’re standing right next to it. Tonight after 10 PM, go 100 yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight. Walk around your yard shaking the kitty treats bag and calling your cat’s name. Look in the bushes with the flashlight to see if you see your cat. Indoor cats rarely stray more than 5 to 7 houses from their own. Look under porches, decks, and any home with the crawlspace.
