Missing Dog. So sorry your dog Pepper is lost, meanwhile…
*Make sure it's posted on Nextdoor app near where he or she is missing
*Make sure it's posted on the Ring camera app near there
*Is she chipped? If so called the registered agent -ask for help
*If not, have whoever you have available visit all the vets near where he/she is lost and take a flyer. Someone might taker he/she in to check for a chip, if she doesn't have one at least the vets know someone is looking for your dog.
*Make sure someone is checking the shelters everday - In Person
*If someone has a drone ask them to fly them all over neighbors and any wooded area
*Make sure to show the flyer or photo to the mailman, prime driver, ups driver, etc…they are all over
*Ask anyone with a ring camera in the neighborhood to check their recordings
*Be sure it's posted on Nextdoor
*Post on Lost & Found Pawboost https://www.pawboost.com
*Post on petcolovelost.org
*Post on Lost & Found Pets Hillsborough
Check online, but just because you don't see your dog on the online search doesn't mean they may not be there. Example if their injured they may not have been posted yet. That's why you have to go IN PERSON to the shelters.
Also, if you have a pricey dog, check Craigslist and other sites to see if anyone is trying to sell your dog, if your dog is posted just have someone make contact and buy your dog, and deal with the rest later.
Also, check all shelters if someone picked up your dog they could get scared and take dog to another shelter in a close-by county. 🙏
