I also tried to catch this dog and could not catch him and I could not even get a picture of him. He was running so fast. I’m glad somebody did find him. He looked very scared hot and tired, but kept running.🥲

Scott Mason I don’t know if you were the guy running besides my car or the guy’s who jumped out of the truck once we guided the dog to the auto mall. I’m so glad Bolt was found and is in a safe place and being well taken care of. Made me happy to know there are good people in the world! I still think it’s strange he had a leash. Praying the owner is okay. If they don’t turn up, I’m glad someone is willing to take him in. Thank you and God bless!

The dogs name is Bolt. He was chipped and we have contacted the listed owners but no call back. The vet believes that the info on the chip was from a previous owner from DeLand. We took him to the vet and had blood tests, the vet at Paradise checked him out thoroughly and I’m happy to let all know that he is out of danger from the heat exhaustion. His main issue is his burnt pads but we have the antibiotics, burn ointments, pain and a very nice fenced yard in LPGA for him to comfortably heal. If the owner eventually calls, we will definitely let everyone know otherwise do not worry…… he has found a foster family that is able and willing to do what’s needed to give him a good life and plan to do so.
