Message from Owner

We miss our little one so much. We rescued him from AFV when he was a few months old, and feral. He's pretty skittish still but likes getting pets and treats. He is also bonded with our older male cat. He is an indoor cat but managed to slide under the garage door when I was airing it out, something he's never done before. I hope we can get him home soon.

What are the odds of someone being able to snag him for themselves? Something my kid brought up last night while searching.

Ines Diaz thank you. Yes, we've been looking and will look again later once the complex quiets down. He is just a baby, and it's so sad thinking how scared and hungry he must be. He was feral when we got him 2 years ago and is still so skittish of loud noises and quick movements.

Searching for him is the fastest way to get him back: 🐾 Sad seeing so many kitties go missing just this week. Poor baby, he must be so scaredļæ¼ and hungry out on his own. When a cat goes missing, they can’t easily find their way home using only their scent. You must be proactive and look for them. šŸ”¦ Look under cars, bushes & hedges, look for glowing eyes w/flashlight, call his name at dusk when it’s quiet and they come out from hiding to eat. Posting is important, but please search for him, too. They don’t go far, 3-4 houses away, they stay in one place until they are scared off by dogs, coyotes, or loud noises. The challenge is finding him before he gets further away. šŸ“£Please hang flyers near the area he went missing, it’ll let your neighbors know you’re looking for him and get the immediate attention from pedestrians and drivers. You’re the one that can bring him home safely, he’ll recognize your voice, footsteps and your scent.ļæ¼ Post on ND, check SDHS Lost & Found daily. If you’re able to find him, PLEASE, please don’t let him out unattended. Cats have the intelligence of a 3yo, they don’t know the dangers, they face outdoors with coyotes, dogs, cars, and worst of all evil people who taunt or injure cats. It only takes an hour to train a cat on a leash, then he can be outdoors safely with you. šŸˆā€ā¬› Good luck finding this gorgeous little guy šŸ¾šŸ’™šŸ¾
