Thank you for helping this beautiful kitty. Any vet can scan for a chip, if moving the cat though definitely use a carrier. Since it is friendly, You can also call 608-255-2345 during day time business hours and they can take the cat to Dane County Humane Society. Alternatively, this may be the cat distribution system at work :) Good luck and let us know if you need any help or advice!
