Sorry, I thought I found him, but it was a different male cat with similar markings. They had his GPS collar tracker, so I know he is theirs. I hope you find Tommy!

I don't remember a pound but there are a few websites you can post about your lost pet I just see them but I haven't used him and I should keep him but I see people posting them here also I am going to be praying and I reposted this ad I am recommend you get a little chip that is that goes on the color so that you can have an app I got mine at Costco they're like $100 but there are less expensive ones on Amazon for maybe 3540 bucks but you have an app and you put the little chip on the collar and then you can see where they're at God bless you and your search

I'm so sorry that Tommy is missing. Often they haven't gone far from the point of last seen so check with ALL of your neighbors!! If he's an indoor cat he is likely hiding nearby. Research shows that most cats are found within a 6 block radius of the point of last seen. Please ask your neighbors to check their sheds, garages, window wells, under porches, etc. anywhere he may have inadvertently been trapped. It's possible someone took him in thinking that he was a stray. Consider putting missing flyers in your neighborhood. Also check online at the found cats at the NoCo Humane Society. https://www.nocohumane.org/lost-found-pets/stray-cats-2/ Check daily because they are only on a stray hold for a short time before they can be adopted by others. Look for him and call for him after it gets dark (around 8:30pm currently) and around dawn (around 5:30am currently) as that's when they move about. I've heard that they try to return the same way they left so if you can leave a garage door, window, etc. open. If he's microchipped, make sure that your contact information connected to his chip registration is correct! There are mixed opinions on putting out their litterbox. Put out a piece of your clothing and one of his blankets. I've seen scammers replying to lost pet posts saying that they have found the lost pet. If you have to respond by messenger it is a scam. Praying that Tommy is home soon ❤️🙏 Here's a helpful resource: https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I?si=nfyOzi00hC5SNFV

Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search high and low with a flashlight. Put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving. And post on nextdoor. Com

Here are some tips to help bring your cat back home: Search the neighborhood and ask if you can look in their their yard yourself rather than just ask if they've seen your cat. They might not have noticed if a cat has been hiding under their deck. LOOK IN SMALL SPACES such as bat window wells, under cars, bushes, sheds, under decks, wood piles, drainage pipes etc. ***Please go outside and call for her especially once it is dark and quiet. A live trap rented from the pound may be successful. One tip is to use a baby monitor or other security camera pointed in your yard toward the trap so you can monitor if and when your cat is coming around since it’s often in the dark of night. Check small spaces she could be hiding under or in. A number of local cats were recently found locked in neighbor's garage attics (ask neighbors to check their garages, sheds, window wells, etc), and another cat was recently found in a nearby drainage ditch.** PUT OUT THEIR LITTERBOX. Sounds weird, but it works. It's about smells. Also maybe put out their bedding or your clothing. PUT OUT SMELLY FOOD like sardines, tuna, canned cat food. Some have put it in a garage with the door part way open, or they even left the window open and food near the sill. Also LEAVE YOUR GARAGE DOOR OPEN a foot. Some cats have come home and been found meowing in their garage in the middle of the night! Post on the Next Door website or app as well to let people in your neighborhood know. Additionally, post on Craigslist, and the HelpingLostPets page and also the Pawboost Facebook page. A free flyer can be made on Pawboost and also on HelpingLostPets. And definitely contact authorities. If you have created the free flyer, you can email or leave a printout with them. Please check the pound every couple days.
