Description

Charcoal pepper with lots of salt. Prominent Spine due to aging and weight loss. Very sweet. Hardly any teeth. Mostly deaf. Definitely neutered. Orange prominent color in right eye, probably cataract is forming. Please help me be able to see him back home. He left with a pretty smelly tail-end. He missed his grooming on Thursday as he was already lost. PLEASE help me find my baby. I am very concerned for him and miss him terribly. Thank you, Cheryl Lynn Arledge

Message from Owner

Missing my senior cat. His name is Hush-Shush, a neutered male. He looks to be a mix of Maine Coon and something else—a medium haired muted black domesticated feline. He is mostly deaf, about 20 years old and his right eye is getting cloudy with a cataract I believe. His weight loss over the past two years has made his spine pretty prominent. His teeth are mostly missing. I have had him as an indoor/outdoor cat for many years. He has been gone now for about 3 days. I’ve been praying for his return. He had an appointment Thursday morning that I had to cancel for a grooming at his vet’s office. He goes regularly to Cobb Animal hosp and needs his yearly exam and vaccines in July. Dr. Gina Meekins is his vet. Please if anyone has seen him, DM me and I will provide my phone number. Thank you so much. Please help me find him. I’m very concerned at this point. I’ve never known him to be gone from home this long.

Cats sometimes get locked in bats, sheds or attics; even those of neighbors. Please check those types of places. Put their dirty litter box outside so they can smell their way home. Also post on Dogs of North Carolina’s cat page, PawBoost, the Nextdoor App and as a last resort Craigslist. Always go to the shelter in person or check the GCAS Intake Page. I hope you get your baby back safe soon.
