Message from Owner

My mom's dog is missing and she is devastated. Last person who has seen him says he was hit by a car and limping. Last night's temperatures were below freezing and we are very concerned. Any information at all will be much appreciated.

Here Are A Few Tips In Searching For Your Lost Dog.. Keep sharing posts, check them and the shared ones, post flyers within 5 miles from where the dog is lost from.. Go to any sitings put up flyers, If any sitings map out the sections they are seen in, ( Also print out a map of the entire town, google it on your phone, look at the Area‘s sited, as well as surrounding areas which they could move into) then you know the area’s they been in.. Look at the map and see if you see a pattern in the locations or something familiar to you..If you have another dog take them to the locations walk them around those areas, If recently seen sit in the area with the other dog or sit in that spot they were seen by yourself..Keep people out of the area...When seen Do Not Chase, sit down, don’t call their name, let them come to you, (have some food with you, like chicken, hamburger, etc, keep it in a plastic baggie with you, so you have it with you) let them see the food softly throw a piece towards them, so you can get them to come to you.. Work your search in those areas as well as surrounding areas.. Look under bushes, shrubs, any plants they can hide under, decks, sheds any open areas they could fit in or under.. Abounded buildings or houses they could possibly hide in or around, wooded areas, places where they can feel safe where not many people pass through.. Usually they will return to these areas where they feel safe, or move to surrounding areas, which flyers should be put up.. Use a map so you know the areas you need to put the flyers in, Put them in stores, banks, vets office, shelters, all over the town as well as surrounding towns both hanging, in stores and handed out..
