Found/Stray Dog in Burke County, NC 28655

Description

pit/terrier mix (suspected), brown and white with some black spots. she’s got dirt on her since she’s been outside for what seems to be a while. she’s skinny too, and she is without a collar. she’s a little timid at first but once you get down to her level and show you’re friendly, she’s ready for love! definitely not spayed.

this little girl is lost, or potentially abandoned. she’s near abee farm road, right off morrison rd and mount Olive church rd. she’s so sweet and loving, after a few pets she laid down on my lap and let me give her belly rubs and chin scratches. she just needs love and she’s willing to give it back. she appears to be friendly with everyone, including children and other dogs. i think it’s safe to say she hasn’t been around cats too much. i doubt she’d hurt one, though, not on purpose. she doesn’t have a collar, she isn’t spayed, she has some missing fur on her but it doesn’t appear to be mange. it’s likely she has fleas and ticks considering she’s been outdoors for a while, i’m basing this assumption on how skinny she is. i’m trying to keep her fed and watered for at least a few days, but it’s the best i can do. if anyone can help or give her an good home, please email me!
