Description

Large brown/reddish-brown domesticated rabbit with upright ears, dark eyes, lighter muzzle/chin, and a compact, muscular build

Message from Finder

Large reddish-brown domestic rabbit with a short, dense coat and a very distinctive appearance. Has large upright ears, dark eyes, a lighter tan/cream muzzle and chin, and a large rounded body. The front legs and feet are darker, with some lighter coloring underneath..This appears to be a well-cared-for pet rabbit and not a typical wild rabbit. Found by family yesterday and is being cared for by them until they can find its owner or a shelter/rabbit rescue to take it in. If you recognize this rabbit or know the owner, please message me. Owner should be able to provide identifying details. Please share to help get this bunny home! 🐰

Imra, it was at my family member’s door several times that day. It had no issue being brought inside and was very social with the family.

Lisa, my family said it behaved very well when they took it into the house.

Being told it may be a castor Rex rabbit, presumably a male (but not verified).
