Some useful info
A rescue volunteer
When you find a wandering cat THINK lost not dumped. Some cats are picked up and dumped by strangers…
Some are stolen
Wandering cats are great risk of harm by cars, unscrupulous people and coyotes and weather issues.
If unable to contain call Animal Control..they will come check for chip and the chip may owner info.
Or bring the cat to any vet they will check for chip, it’s free.
Please do not foster out…
Cats have a high risk of being lost in the system, and not be able to find their family.
If unable to care for this cat till owner found please bring to a shelter, and post the name/town/state…at all the sites.
Rescues can have a chance of fostering this cat as well once at a shelter.

Local Animal control they make a report and check for a chip.
