Message from Owner

Our cat is missing! We’re on the 400 block of Cherry Street, in Columbia. Right next to Holy Trinity. He is a Russian Blue, all silver with green eyes. He responds to his name Rebel, as well as Bubby and Handsome Boy. My irresponsible children left the screen door open, watched him go out, and didn’t tell me or their Dad until the next day when he wasn’t there for breakfast 😫 He used to be an inside/ outside cat with his previous owner (they lived at the end of our block) who dumped him when they moved. Since being with us for the last 10 months he has only been an inside cat. We haven’t seen a trace of him yet and we miss him very much! Please keep your eyes open for him!

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA and other animal shelters rent them out for $100. When you return the trap you get your $100 back. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.

Flyers in neighborhoods walk neighborhoods day and evening talk to neighbors check shelters check sheds garages normally don't go far from home. I hope you fine your sweet kitty safe 💗
