Erika please DM me. Helping my friend find his lost cockatiel I connected with someone who found a cockatiel looking very similar.

You're welcome. Be sure to put either your cell phone number, or a Google Voice number, or one of those phones you can buy at the drugstore on the flyer. Leave the volume on all the time so if someone contacts you about a sighting you can get there quickly. Another good thing to do since not everyone is on social media, is to ring door bells, ask people to watch for your bird, look under porches, in storage buildings. Give them a flyer. If no one home, leave it in the door. Give flyers to postal carriers, UPS, FED EX other delivery drivers, ask them to watch. Contact The all the shelters - in Arlington, Fairfax County (public and the Humane Society), Alexandria. Send flyers to Stahl Exotic Animal Veterinary Services and also Pender, both in Fairfax. Both have avian vets. Post flyers on community bulletin boards, especially the pet supply stores. There is a bird store on (I think) Lee Highway in Falls Church - or on the way to Vienna, take a flyer there. If you haven't posted on Next Door, do that ASAP.

Erika Medrano As many flyers as you can. Ask famy and friends to help you put them up. Go our morning and evening to search. Sometimes they dont fly far. Someone in my area lost her rosella. She was out for three weeks. Road workers who had seen the flyers found her, called the owner who rushed her to her vet. She survived.
