This morning, my heart is SO full. ❤️🐾 Our sweet Jacques was returned home to us, safe and sound, and I honestly can’t put into words the relief and gratitude I feel. There is nothing quite like seeing your fur baby coming back through your front door when you’ve been worried sick. 🥹❤️ A very special THANK YOU to Meagan Hampton, who found Jacques and did exactly the right thing to help get him home. I’m trying to get in touch with you personally because “thank you” just doesn’t seem big enough. Your kindness meant more to us than you could possibly know. And here is my HUGE reminder to every pet owner: MICROCHIP YOUR PETS—and make sure that information stays UPDATED! Jacques is microchipped with our current information, and because of that, Animal Control knocked on my door just 3½ hours later with our boy. ❤️🐶🏡 That little chip may seem like something you’ll never need…until the day you desperately do. Today, it brought a member of our family home. It’s easy to get discouraged by the world sometimes, and then someone does something kind for a complete stranger and reminds you that there are still really good people out there. Meagan, if you see this—or if someone knows her and can tag her—please tell her that Jacques’ family is forever grateful. ❤️ Tonight Jacques is HOME, my heart can finally relax, and I am counting my blessings. 🐾❤️ Microchips work. Kind people matter. And sometimes, happy endings really do knock on your front door. ❤️

Nancy Beltramo-Legge yes he is. Animal control brought him back to me this morning. Within 3 1/2 hours of him running out the front door... I am so appreciative. Best example of why pet owners need to keep their information up to date!
