Thank you both! The vet clinic nearby was able to give us his chip number but it's not one they installed. I've reached out the company via email since their number is just an automated system 😒. Whoever chipped him didn't register the number. Thankfully one of our local shelters provided us with food and supplies to help care for him!

Contact neighborhood constable /Police / and vets to see if they know the pet or owner. If someone contacts you, have THEM tell YOU detail information to make sure pet goes to the right owner! Since the pup is chipped and when the owner is found..have the owner meet you at a vet location to have the pet chip registered.Most counties/cities requirement is now in place..ALL pets must be chipped and registered! PLEASE be aware dogs stolen daily and used for dog fighting bait!😡 please keep this angel safe. CHECK NEIGHBORHOOD OR HOME CAMERAS IF THERE ARE ANY FOR POSSIBLE ACTIVITY! Thank you for keeping the pup safe!!🐶🐕‍🦺🙏

Flyers in neighborhoods check shelters see if anyone has called looking for this dog description and let's spread the word door to door in Oakwood Trails Neighborhood to get the word out about this sweet boy. Thank you for being there.
