MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Am missing my boy very much and worried sick. He is chipped but he gets frightened easily by strangers and we have zero clue how he even got outside in the first place but the last security footage we have of him is from mid-afternoon Friday 4/19. Astro was named Soot when we adopted him and I believe his microchip is registered under his previous name though the address should be current.

DESCRIPTION

Black domestic shorthair with stubby ears (missing a bit of both ends). Is chipped but I believe he is registered with his pre-adopted name “Soot” with Again. He can get frightened easily.

I finally managed to catch the cat who’s been coming in the garage for the food I’ve been leaving out and it’s not Astro 😭 I’m so upset right now but now this poor little guy or girl in the picture is still in my garage. I will need to borrow a humane trap from someone so I can bring it in to be scanned for a chip. Seems more scared than feral. I think I would have been hissed at or scratched already otherwise.

Thanks everyone. Just to update, the last time I had sight of him was overnight this last Saturday to Sunday coming into the garage to eat but I was unable to retain him and he ran off again. He hasn’t been back the last two nights. I may have seen a green flash last night while searching the thick patch of nearby bushes and trees to my north last night but it was so brief I can’t be certain.
