Jessica Hyde is Bynx still missing? Could this be her? Here is link to this post https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Cnze5SbBu/ I also noticed that she is chipped, so hopefully, if this IS her, you would most likely be contacted , but if not, you might contact the company the chip is registered with & be sure that they have your contact information current & up to date. You can also check the status of her chip, by running her number thru the AAHA microchip lookup tool , it scans all databases for registries & results show the name & contact information of the company the chip is registered with, (the finder files a found report with the company & the company should contact you with the finders contact information ) https://www.aaha.org/for-veterinary-professionals/microchip-registry-lookup-tool-aaha-find-your-pets-microchip-registry/ Even tho they say that they dont become "unregistered," once its registered, i HAVE seen times where the company failed to contact the owner, once was because ( we believe) the company charged a fee , i believe it was once a year, but it was really, really high & the owner hadnt been working, able to pay the fee, but it never occurred to her that she wouldnt be contacted, not sure if she really understood the process or not, i only know this because we received word that a pet store in western washington had her cat posted on their page for adoption, and even after the owner made it clear that this was her cat, they completely ignored her & deleted her comments. I suggested to the owner to run his number in the lookup tool & thats when she told me about the fees, unpaid fees, and i suggested registering it with a different company that offered free service & she did so & i messaged the owner of the shop & told him that cat is microchipped & please re- run his number, long story short , he was back home within an hour. I know that was alot , but i just want to emphasize the importance of having it registered & registered to you , or someone you know & trust very well , with current up to date contact information, and making sure this company is going to contact you , if she is found & scanned .
