Message from Owner

Millie, my heart, has been missing since July 18th. She is the most beautiful, sweetest and precious little thing (seriously, she is small) She adopted us in March last year (I have videos of that late night appearance), starved and looking for a home. We would find out that she had just gotten pregnant when she appeared. What was maddening was that apparently she’d had another litter just prior, as was evident by the size of her teats, clearly whoever had her before didn’t bother to fix her, or give her any vet care. Last year we had her fixed, vaxxed and chipped - although I only added our info to her chip on August 1st (totally forgot to register our info). I don’t know what to do to find her, assuming she is still alive. It pains me to even think something awful happened to her. If anything, I hope that someone has her indoors and is loving her. Have you seen her or know of anyone who has, or might know where she is at? We live close to the Rocklin Cemetery, off of Grove Blvd. Please let me know anything you might know of her whereabouts or have her chip info checked. We would be eternally grateful. She has a beautiful coat - very light off white and tan in her face and chest and the deep browns and blacks swirls and stripes in her body - she looks like a sokoke cat, but is probably just a brown tabby. Long and thin, small, weighs around 8 lbs or thereabouts… Thank you so much for reading…

Immediately (NOW)walk area shake treat bag or Bang on cat food can calling for your cat multiple times during the day-and-night especially when it's quiet out. Look under all bushes and in between houses. Ask your neighbors to check cameras garage, shed backyard. Post on nextdoor, get family & friends to search every day. Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow

Have neighbors check garages and sheds. Have a tree out back? Check that too. Leave your garage door up a little so they can return home to a familiar place. Place a box outside with blankets or even the clothes you wore today so a cat can pick up the scent and make it home. If you are new to this area, have friends keep an eye out at your former home. And please: CHECK THE LOCAL SHELTERS DAILY I hope your kitty makes it back home safe very soon. Please make sure to get your cat chipped once they return, and PLEASE keep them indoors! PLEASE NEVER LOSE HOPE! LOOK UP! Cats are great climbers and looking for them on the ground only is limiting your search. Male wanderers tend to stay within a territory of about 150 acres, while females stay closer to home, roaming only about 40 acres. This means that your average male cat is likely to stay within 1500 feet of home, while your average female tends not to go much farther than 75 yards from your door. Be careful of the lost pet finders. Most of them are playing on your emotions and wanting cash up front.! https://www.pawboost.com/?utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=report_pet_alert_link_lost Sacramento SPCA | (916) 383-7387 Front Street Shelter | 311 or (916) 808-7387 Bradshaw Animal Shelter | 311 or (916) 368-7387 Elk Grove Animal Services | (916) 691-2489 or (916) 714-5115 Not from the Sacramento area?
