Found/Stray Dog in Phelan, CA 92371

Description

he appears to be approximately 3 to 4 year old husky mix of some sort. white fur with brown german shepard like markings on back. very distinct eyes the pictures do not show it. One is an amber color and the other is super light blue. One glows green, the other red—large dog prob 120 lbs. old tattered black dtripped bandana no tags no collar.

This dog has to belong to someone. He wandered up on me while hiking in the Cleghorn OHV area. Nearly gave me a heart attack to suddenly have a dog that looks like a wolf standing there. He is the sweetest thing! He is the best-behaved dog I have ever encountered. Doesn't whine, aggravate, or cause any problems. hse trained. I know he has to belong to someone. He got a little banged up before he got to me. Scratch could be road rash over his left eye, and his pitiful nose is missing skin as well. I am taking care of him, and he is healing up. He acts very sad. Not skiddish of anything. perfect dog. Someone has to be heartbroken over him. I have had him now going on 4 days. I am taking care of him until his owner surfaces. I used to work for the Laurens County Humane Society in Georgia, and I cannot bring myself to turn him into animal control.
