Saw this Male (pitbull?) chase after a truck in front of E 4th St/Merrick. Multiple cars were trying to avoid him as he was darting btwn the street and sidewalk. He's a sweetie, he just looked so confused:( Was wagging his tail and wanting pets. He was super responsive and very friendly when called him over. I don't have his name nor did he have a collar to check. After securing him in a safe area and seeing that no one had come back nor was looking for him in that hour, I drove him to a friends hse for the night. Will be taking him to get his chip checked in the morning. Unfortunately cannot hse him for long so if anyone recognizes this guy pls let me know ASAP.
