Message from Owner

Our sweet boy Cratos is missing and we are heartbroken. He is a light gray/tan cat with striking blue eyes, with darker tabby markings on his face, ears, and legs. He has a white chest and white paws, and a soft, plush coat. His eyes are very unique and bright—they really stand out. Cratos is incredibly gentle, affectionate, and friendly. He’s not aggressive at all and may approach people or allow himself to be picked up. He has a calm, loving energy and is deeply missed by our family. He is NOT neutered, which means he may roam farther than usual or be more drawn to other cats. He may be scared and hiding, or trying to find his way . Please check grges, sheds, under decks, and quiet spaces. If you see him or have any information, please message me right away or call/text: Please share—our family (especially our kids) miss him so much 🤍

If you haven't yet, report missing to NHS and check in person for him everyday if you can! And cross post on the lost pets of omaha Facebook page, lost pets of omaha area Facebook page, the next door app (they have general feeds and lost pet groups), and the Ring app. Flyers posted in the area can be helpful too. Also put out his bed, blankets, family members clothing etc for scent, and search with flashlights around dawn or dusk, it can help you see his eyes and find him, especially under bushes, decks, etc. May be worth it to leave your garage door up a little too, in case he comes back home on his own. If there are sightings but he is unable to be caught, try some traps. The lost pets of omaha area Facebook page is usually able to find ones to lend people. Prayers your baby is home soon!

Be sure to check throughout your house - closets, drawers, behind or under things - box spring!! Sometimes cats get caught/trapped by accident - even in garages!! Check with neighbors to see if she may have gotten shut in a shed or garage by accident, because that can happen quite easily! Usually inside kitties do not go far because they get scared, so keep your eyes open for any action outside! Fliers at vet clinics, stores, libraries, schools - anywhere that will allow you to put them up!! Check shelters every few days IN PERSON!! Check with neighbors to see if this little one got shut in a shed or garage by accident. Do not limit your search area, because pets can travel for miles! Join your local and surrounding county exchanges for buy sell trade as they have many people on them that would continue to share!! And, "bump" your post!! Do not make new posts because that can be confusing, however, please keep in mind that groups may only allow a couple bumps a week, to keep everything fair for all! And, NEVER give up!! *** Fliers at vet clinics, stores, libraries, schools - anywhere that will allow you to put them up!! Check NHS every few days IN PERSON!! PLEASE get this boy neutered and microchipped as soon as he is back home. Sadly, he is probably out creating more unwanted kittens. He will probably come home on his own within a week, but try: Putting owner’s dirty clothes around yard and in garage with water and bed. Leave door open enough he can get in. Search in, under, behind every possible place he could be hiding, stuck, hurt…sheds, garages, window wells, trees, bushes, storm drains/gutters. After dark search with flashlights so you see eyes shine.
