Koa is a pitbull/terrier mix and is tan with mild brindle markings. She is wearing a teal collar with emergency contact information secured to it. She is very social but is scared of storms and may be hiding somewhere.

Message from Owner

Please help us bring Koa home! She is a PTSD service animal and beloved pup by all three of her tiny humans. She escaped during a storm from the backyard and hasn’t been seen since!

Donna Coit Kendrick we have done both! We notified her microchip company and filed a report too. We also gave a flyer to our local police department who runs animal control as well. Thank you!

Have you checked the wooded area/creek south of you and north of Northmoor Acres and Bella Ridge Golf Course? She could be hiding down there scared to come out. Also, do you have a photo of her standing up? That might help to see how big she is.

Put out unwashed bedding/clothing. Call for her around 2am, when city is quiet. Stay in one place for a while, give her time to find you. Take a favorite, loud toy to help. Good luck 🤞
