Message from Owner

Our sweet boy has gone missing. He is an indoor/outdoor cat and we think he got stuck in someone's garage, under a porch, or up a tree. We miss him dearly and are asking for your help in finding him.

Prayers for safe return. Look under cars and bushes nearby at night with a flashlight. Check all around your house. If you can, leave bottom of garage door open a little for him to come into.

If your cat is an indoor cat, it will be scared and won’t come when called. Try placing their used litter outside. At night, use a flashlight to check under your and your neighbors' bushes and decks for the reflection of your cat's eyes. ‼️Additionally, consider setting up a humane trap as soon as possible, as it's one of the most effective methods for finding lost cats ‼️. You can bait the trap with strong-smelling sardines. These traps can be purchased at local hardware stores or borrowed from animal shelters. While this approach might seem drastic, remember that lost pets often enter survival mode and behave differently. Be sure to research how to use a humane trap effectively. Make sure to visit local animal shelters in person and look for your missing kitty, and post flyers within a one-mile radius of where your kitty went missing. There are also many valuable resources available online if you search for "how to find your missing cat." Important Note: Be cautious of scåmmers who may claim they have found your cat or offer drøne services. It's best not to engage with them. 🙏🏻❤️

Sigh....dont let your cats out! I mean, I feel sorry for you. I would be DEVASTATED if my cats went missing! But, I dont take the chance with letting them outside. I hope you find him and I hope you learn your lesson. I know that is mean but do not let your animals outside!

It would be good to put out a worn piece of clothing on your porch as well as in the garage. Like I mentioned previously. It would also be good to post on neighbors ring app which covers a three plus mile radius of your location and alerts people that have the app. It would be good too, especially focus on a one to two block radius of your house especially at Dawn dusk in feeding time shaking a bag of cat treats or cat food vigorously to help attract your cat's attention if it's close by. Also, bring a flashlight with you to help catch a glimpse of your cat's eyes if it's nearby. When you're in this one to two block radius of your home. Make sure you also check trees, window wells, shrubbery and especially under decks and porches And have your neighbor check their shed and garage where cats are often found. I hope if your baby comes back he steps going out. I don't know if you realize it's against the law in many counties and very dangerous to the pet and not very fair to the pet...... It's like letting a toddler wander outside and in the streets unattended 😥

Flyers are very important. They are best put in a zip gallon bag that is upside down to protect from the elements. It was just recently that both the dog and a cat were reunited by flyers alone since the people that found the animals did not have social media. If you adopted from a rescue, they usually like to know ASAP that a former animal is missing. If your cat has a microchip, it's good to make sure your contact information is up to date so you can be contacted if your cat is found. Cats tend to stay close to home before they wander so time is of the essence. Make sure your cat is not hiding in the garage in a closet in a dresser, drawer or behind furniture which often happens. I've heard of a few cats returning home the past few years when the owner left their garage open about 5 inches with a worn piece of clothing on the inside of the garage near the opening to help attract the cat if it comes close back to home but not too wide. So you do not attract unwanted animals. It's good if you go check outside on your block around Dawn and dusk with a flashlight looking in shrubbery and under decks and porches to hopefully catch a glimpse of your cat's eyes if it is close by. Usually cats are scared when they first leave home and might not even respond to you. So the flashlight might come in handy to catch a glimpse of the eyes. It's also good to check your local animal control in person daily because things change very often and best in person. It's also good to check local rescues and shelters in your area daily. Hoping for a quick and safe return.....
